Welcome to
Early Start Summer 2013

We are glad that you have chosen Cal Poly Pomona to pursue your college education. You have most likely been directed to this page, because you have been identified as not having satisfied proficiency requirements in English and /or Mathematics.

Incoming freshmen who demonstrate a remedial need in English and/or mathematics must begin remediation in the summer (CSU Policy on remediation - EO1048)

Participation in the Early Start program is mandatory. Failure to enroll 2013 can result in disenrollment for students who do not have an exemption. You will not be able to register for any course(s) Fall 2013.

CPP has created a program of summer offerings to ensure that you are not only in compliance with the Chancellor's mandate but that you are also making progress with your preparatory classes.

Early Start at another campus
