
The Homework Assistance Center
Created through a partnership between Partners in Education, the Pomona Public Library and the Center for Community Service-Learning. The homework assistance center is a free, comfortable space where students in grades 1-6 can drop in and work on their homework independently or with the help of volunteer mentors. The center is equipped with computers, reference books and school supplies and is staffed by volunteers from Cal Poly Pomona of all majors.
The homework assistance center is opened from 4-6 pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and its located in the Children's section of the Pomona Public Library at 625 S. Garey Avenue in Pomona.
